South of the Border Motocross Training Complex is extremely excited to announce the addition of Lucas Oil Outdoor National and Monster Energy Supercross rider Brandon Scharer to our training staff! Brandon is twenty-four years old and has been racing for eighteen years, six as a professional. Brandon had top ten finishes outdoors in 2018 and a best of twelfth in Supercross and has earned national number 58 for the 2019 season. Brandon has been training riders for the last 5 years and has worked with Buddy Antunez throughout his amateur and professional career.

Matt Bisceglia

Matt Bisceglia

The newest addition to South of the border Motocross training complex is Monster Energy Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross rider Matt Bisceglia. Former Geico Honda, Yoshimura Suzuki, JGR Suzuki, and Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha rider. Matt brings years of experience as an amateur and professional racer to SOBMX. He holds five national titles at the famous Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and was the 2013 Horizon award winner. Professionally, Matt had several 250SX podiums as well as numerous top 10 finishes in both the 250 and 450 class outdoors. Aside from training the kids on the track, he is also in the gym morning and afternoon as their fitness trainer. He has worked with top trainers during his career and has taken what he’s learned and applied it here.

Sprout

Sprout has worked at South of the Border since he was in middle school. He is in charge of all facets of track prep and is a tireless worker. In the summer months it is not unusual for Sprout to see the sun rise and set from the water truck or dozer.
